Clean Energy and CHP

One of our favorite applications for clean energy is called CHP.  A Co-generation or Tri-generation system delivers two or three forms of energy (electricity, plus hot water and/or chilled water) from a single fuel source.  This can significantly increase the energy efficiency of the facility.  This approach to combining power generation with heat recovery is sometimes called Combined Heat and Power or CHP.

Renewable Energy

Solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable energy source available, and the U.S. has some of the richest solar resources in the world.  We work with both photovoltaic and solar-thermal technologies.  As solar and other renewable technologies (mainly hydro and wind) continue to improve in efficiency, we will also increase our clients’ exposure to these options for clean power generation.
